they are bring a new female character to replace her. and the reason they gave for brody leaving was crap. the writers wrote her into a corner & couldn't get her out.
I always get mighty suspicious when a network floods my airwaves with promos for upcoming series. this. it seems like the more they advertise it, the bigger flop it it turns out to be. the event & the cape for NBC are two that come to mind.
