How close did we come to SG1 Season 11?

This is from January, 2018 and the story suggests that a season 11 would have happened on Apple.....until SyFy shot down the deal.

As I have said before, SciFi used to be my Friday night date: SG1, Atlantis and Battlestar. I never watch the channel. Ever. Ever.

Right there with you. Unfortunately, that is the sort of thing that I expect from them specifically and network affiliated TV in general (Siphy...pardon me, SyFy...is part of NBC Universal). I ditched my satellite service some years back and only stream PBS, Netflix and Amazon Prime these days. And before I even watch something on one of those, I also verify that it's not produced/created by Brad Wright or any of his "Boys at Bridge" cohorts.
