As you may, or may not know, Joe Flanigan lost his home in the Malibu fires. Thankfully, he reports that he and his children are safe.
He and some friends took a boat into the scene and swam in to check on the damage. Although he had just lost his home, he jumped into action to help save the homes of neighbors.
Ive linked an article that lists some of the ways that you can help, as well as Joe's Instagram account which have some pictures of the damage.
These fires are now the most destructive fires in California history, in terms of loss of life and property damage. The town of Paradise has been wiped off the map, completely destroyed.
Please help if you can. If you can't, please offer up a prayer for rain: it is the only hope they have at this time.
Update: Richard Dean Anderson is safe, house spared although many in his neighborhood were destroyed. Ben Browder evacuated safely.
